I’m a forty-eight year-old survivor of necrotic pancreatitis. After limping along for a year or two, my pancreas finally gave up around Christmas of 2018. I was diagnosed as diabetic on January 9, 2019.
As advertised, I’m almost a complete n00b at this. I have questions—a lot of questions. I need answers and an outlet to work ’em out. So here we are.
I’m also a writer, a knitter, a reader, a former librarian currently on disability, and a Mom, not necessarily in that order. I’ll be writing about all that, too.
If you prefer wackier fare, I still have my old blog up. Feel free to take a look!
